KEA Group-C FDA & SDA Recruitment 2026 – 5,431 First & Second Division Assistant and Equivalent Posts (RPC + Kalyana Karnataka)
The Karnataka Examinations Authority has invited online applications (Notification No. ED/KEA/14,15,16,17/R.S./2026(KK-RPC) dated 29.10.2026) for direct recruitment to 5,431 Group-C posts across many Karnataka Government departments – Second Division Assistant (SDA, PUC level) and First Division Assistant (FDA, degree level) and equivalent posts such as Accounts Assistant, Warden, Hostel Superintendent, Gram Panchayat Secretary Grade-1/2 and Computer Operator. Posts are split between the Kalyana Karnataka (KK) local cadre and the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC). Online applications run from 30.10.2026 to 25.11.2026; fee can be paid till 26.11.2026. Selection is through a written competitive exam (OMR) plus a Kannada language test.

Eligibility & age limit
SDA and equivalent posts: PUC (Class 12) or equivalent; some posts need PUC in Commerce (e.g., with Accountancy). FDA and equivalent posts: a degree from a recognised university; post-wise conditions apply – e.g., Accounts Assistant needs B.Com/BBM/BBA, Warden/Hostel Superintendent need a degree plus B.Ed, FDA-cum-Computer Operator needs a degree plus a one-year computer course. Age: 18 to 40 years (43 for Cat-2A/2B/3A/3B, 45 for SC/ST/Cat-1) on the last date; these limits include a one-time 5-year relaxation. Further relaxations as per Karnataka rules. Selection process
Written competitive exam (offline OMR): Paper-1 and Paper-2 on 10.01.2027 (as per detailed notification)
Kannada language test on 08.01.2027 for those not exempted
