Eligibility & age limit
Minimum General Educational Qualification: a pass in SSLC (10th) of Tamil Nadu or equivalent; some posts need typewriting/shorthand or other technical qualifications. Age as on 01.07.2026 for 'Others' category: minimum 18 years (VAO 21), maximum 30 years for most posts; higher or no maximum age for BC, MBC/DC, SC, ST and certain posts as per the notification.
