Eligibility & age limit
Post-wise (Annexure A): Chief Law Assistant — University Degree in Law with 3 years standing practice as Pleader at Bar (Railway Law Graduates with 5 years service also eligible). Public Prosecutor — Graduate with Bachelor degree in Law and 5 years standing as advocate at Bar. Senior Publicity Inspector — Degree plus Diploma in Public Relations/Advertising/Journalism/Mass Communication. Junior Translator/Hindi — Master's in Hindi or English (with the other language at degree level) or equivalent Master's routes, plus recognized Diploma/Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa. Staff and Welfare Inspector — Graduation with Diploma in Labour/Social Welfare or Labour Laws, or PG Diploma in Personnel Management, or MBA with Personnel Management papers / MBA(HR) / PG Diploma in HRM as specified. Scientific Assistant (Training) — Master's Degree in Psychology with 50% marks in aggregate. Lab Assistant Gr. III (Chemist & Metallurgist) — 12th (+2 Stage) with Science (Physics and Chemistry). Age as on 01.01.2027 varies by post (18–30 to 18–40 years), with community relaxation as per CEN.
